We present a free and open-source Intelligent Platform Management Controller (IPMC) hardware mezzanine in mini-DIMM form factor, based on an STM32H745 microcontroller. An IPMC is a fundamental component of electronic boards compliant to the PICMG Advanced Telecommunications Computing Architecture, such as those envisaged for the High-Luminosity upgrades of the back-end electronics of LHC experiments. The mezzanine, named OpenIPMC-HW (OpenIPMC HardWare) runs inside its FreeRTOS-based firmware an instance of the free and open-source OpenIPMC software, which implements the IPMI functions required by the PICMG standard. The mezzanine is pin-by-pin compatible with existing IPMC solutions and is currently being tested on the Pulsar-IIb, Serenity and Apollo ATCA boards.
